Established in 1973, H & I Engineering provide an extensive range of services. Our workforce of fully qualified tradesmen includes coded welders, pipefitters and fabricators who are highly skilled in production and site working.

With a local, national and international client base, Annan based H&I Engineering is well established and has a strong financial base. Among our clients are Pirelli, Howden Process Compressors, GL Industrial Services, Gates Power Transmission, Magnox North, Futamura and Innovia Films.

Our ability to adapt to changing market demands has proved crucial to our success. Once focused primarily on boiler repair and installation, management recognised the need to diversify and developed the fabrication side of the business through selective recruitment and astute investment. Fabrications and pipework now represent H&I Engineering’s core activities.

H&I Engineering projects vary from comparatively straightforward low pressure pipework systems to boiler and vessel construction that conforms to stringent British and International regulations. What might be described as ‘bread and butter’ work comes from large projects on an ongoing basis for a valued key client in the central region, producing skids, frames and pipework that are typically destined for export, as well as providing engineering support to a number of local companies.

H&I Engineering also support sister company STEM Drive Ltd, with the installation of their unique Fluidic Mixer System in Waste Water and Effluent Treatment Works across the UK.
